Sheathing Bridge & Table

Sheathing Nail Bridge and Table

Amity Nailing Machines: Quality, Reliability, and Innovation

Amity Nailing Machines are built on a foundation of quality, experience, service, and innovation. Designed to be simple, reliable, and cost-effective, our machines deliver one of the fastest returns on investment (ROI) in the industry.

Our sheathing bridge nailing solution serves the wall panel industry with a robust, efficient method for fastening sheathing to pre-framed walls. Compatible with a wide range of sheathing materials, it enables a single operator to secure panels quickly while maintaining precise nail spacing across studs, openings, and both top and bottom plates.

The integrated table keeps pre-framed walls square during operation, while the included air router allows fast and accurate cutting of window and door openings. Intuitive controls make operation flexible, enabling the nail or staple gun to move effortlessly around the wall. Nail patterns can also be adjusted in seconds—from 2-inch spacing to 12-inch spacing—with a simple flip of a switch.

Models:

  • Standard Table & Bridge: Wall Heights from 7’11” to 12’2″.
  •  Tall Table & Bridge: Wall Heights from 7’11” to 14′

Standard Features & Benefits:

  • Standard table length supports 20’ long walls.
  • Fixed rollers to easily slide walls on and off the table.
  • Quickly adjust the bridge for 4”, 6”, or 8” walls.
  • The table clamp is quickly adjusted to clamp or release the wall.
  • The table is fabricated with a solid steel top deck to prevent sawdust and scraps from falling to the floor, plus provide a safe and sturdy surface for operators to stand on if necessary.
  • Equipped with one (1) pneumatic nail gun designed for large coil nails for higher production.
  • Nail gun firing patterns range from 2” to 12” with the flip of a switch.
  • Nail gun can be fired straight up and down, or tilted left or right for splicing sheathing to studs.
  • Nail on the X or Y axis. Top and bottom plates, headers, vertical studs, window frames, etc.
  • Equipped with laser-guided sights on the X and Y axes for accurate nail placement.
  • Variable speed bridge.
  • Control the bridge with an electronic joystick, or use the preset spacing controls to move from stud to stud.
  • Air router is included so operators can quickly move from routing to nailing on the same table. The router is accurately controlled with independent crank handles that allow the operator to move the router with ease as they cut out windows and more.
  • Automatically move the bridge to the left or right side of the table with the push of a button.
  • Automatically move the bridge from stud to stud with the push of a button.
  • Includes machine lubrication system for the nail gun and pneumatic components.

Production Expectations & Operators

  • Production varies with wall configuration, operator work ethic, and lumber quality.
  • Designed to be operated by a single operator. All other operators should stay clear of the bridge during operation for safety reasons.
  • The included table can be used to install the sheathing before nailing, though it is recommended that the sheathing be added to the wall before the sheathing bridge for higher throughput.
